What a Turkish lecturer from abroad will teach university students will not be limited to the school curriculum. Yet this new teacher is unassuming; he begins his first lesson by saying, “No one here needs this lesson.” However, when the students—and especially one of them—notice him, a whole new world opens up before them. As Ulaş learns about Saffet Hoca’s past, his life strangely intersects with Saffet Hoca’s.
