Data controller
Within CineVoid ("Platform"), your personal data may be processed bythe data controller providing the service under Turkish Personal DataProtection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). For applications and requests: youcan reach us via the contact address you publish on theplatform (e.g. email).
Processed data and purposes (summary)
- Account: username, email, password (stored securely),display name, etc. — membership and login.
- Profile: optional biography, profile image —displaying your profile.
- Content: forum topics, comments, film reviews —providing the service and community features.
- Technical data: session/server logs and cookies (asused) for security, abuse prevention, and operations.
Legal basis
Data processing may be based on establishing and performing acontract, providing the service, legitimate interest (security andoperations), or explicit consent where required. Official disclosuretext and legal review are needed for details.
Your rights under KVKK
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have rights such as learning whetheryour data is processed, requesting correction, deletion ordestruction, knowing third parties to whom it is transferred, andrequesting compensation for damages. You can submit your requeststhrough the contact channel.
Retention
Data is stored for as long as the service requires and within legalobligations; when the period expires, it is deleted, anonymized, or nolonger processed.
Third parties
Public data from third-party sources (e.g. TMDb) may be used forcontent such as film information. If trusted providers are used forservices such as email delivery or hosting, personal data transfersshould be explained in the disclosure text.
